Changelog

Display names

• Choose how your name is shown: set a display name under Settings → Profile and see a live preview. Your @username stays your unique handle for mentions and your profile link
• Your display name appears on your posts, comments, profile, chats, notifications and in search, with your @username next to it
• Search now also finds people by their display name
• Verified accounts keep their badge: a new display name is reviewed by our team first and only shown once approved. You can withdraw the request at any time or change your name right away without the badge
• To protect everyone, display names can't copy another person's username or contain hidden characters
• Websites using "Login with Aaronstudios" and the API now receive your display name
